Oryx GTL Holds its Annual Qatari Day

Under the patronage of CEO Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Suwaidi and in the presence of all local Qatari managers and employees, Oryx GTL Ltd. held its annual Tawasol Day, dedicated for local Qatari employees, at the La Cigale Hotel Doha. The event is part of the company’s annual program aimed at communicating with local employees, bringing employees closer to senior management, providing a forum to discuss their concerns and following-up on development and training schemes. The intent is to provide an ideal work environment, help improve their skills and prepare them to become efficient and effective professionals of the future.

The meeting included discussions between management and the employees, in addition to presentations outlining the success stories of some employees who have successfully completed their training and development and have been appointed to their target positions within the company. The day also included a number of other activities aimed at boosting the spirits of employees and motivating their creativity. To support and encourage employees to continue their efforts, ‘Certificates of Appreciation’ were presented to outstanding employees across all fields of work.

Concluding the day, the CEO addressed all attendees and expressed his thanks to all employees for their efforts, stressing the need to maintain standards of safety and security, and urging them to seek excellence and work hard to reach their highest potential. Moreover, he promised to work closely with them to overcome all obstacles and provide all the necessary resources that help achieve these goals.
